Photo dating personals for singles seeking love and relationships online. ePersonals might not be as large as some of competitors, but it is one of the easiest dating sites to use.  It has some interesting little touches that enable you to really personalize both your profiles and your ability to make that first communication.

There's something to be said for simplicity, that it's good.  ePersonals embodies that thought with its plain-vanilla page layouts and refreshing lack of superfluous graphics, so you don't get too distracted by flashy banner ads and other silly things. Particularly clean is the header at the top of each screen that allows quick bouncing from one section to another.

Posting a profile is free, and takes only as much time as you're willing to give it. You don't have to do the usual stuff like the click "n" pick selection of personal interests from sky diving to equestrian.  Instead, the person writing the profile is given more freedom to write exactly what they want to say in six particular categories: four kinds of favorites ( t.v. shows, music, books, and movies), and personal turn-offs and -ons. If you run out of things to write about you can add to it, change it or enhance at a later time.

So if you've always felt cheated because most sites won't allow you to admit that wicker baskets give you that "special feeling" ePersonals is the place for you. And what could be more indicative of a person's personality (or lack there of) than his or her favorite t.v. show? Then again, you may want someone who watches CSPAN on a daily basis. Who are we to judge?

Search for a specific member by Nickname, browse the Most Active, search by age, location or distance from you, or my favourite, "PreciseMatch". In as little time as it time it takes to click a button, you get to view profiles of only the members that match the details you specified in your match preferences.

By subscribing ($9.95 for a week, $19.95 for a month, $44.95 for your first three months), you have the ability to not only see the "fresh faces" new to the site but you'll also be able to use email, chat rooms, and instant messaging. However, if you're cheap, poor, or just not that, er, "excited", you can send a "wink".  Be careful, though. there's no warning dialogue box with a link. it just goes with a single click.  So don't sit there clicking happily away on someone's profile, lest you accidentally "wink" at Rednek69 from Waco, Texas.

Meanwhile, "icebreakers" are really great - and always free - tools for expressing interest without mortgaging your ego. It offers the ability to send one of fifteen messages ranging from the wishy-washy ("I'm new at this internet dating thing and just wanted to say 'Hello"), the propositional ("I love your smile, let's chat online sometime"), and the daring ("Wow!" Could this be love at first sight?").
